All boys from 3rd to 6th class have the opportunity to participate in a Rounders League. Mrs. Kelly trains the 5th and 6th class teams while Ms. McManus trains the 3rd and 4th class teams. The boys train and play a game  of rounders every Monday at lunch time.

Boys in the Senior classes play a friendly league amongst themselves during the school year. As summer approaches the Cumann Lúthchleas Gael League begins. A team of twelve is selected from our 5th and 6th classes. This league is a knock-out competition involving teams and schools from around the county.

There is also a competition for the 3rd and 4th classes which usually takes place during the month of May in Trim, Co. Meath. It is a great, fun day out for the students.

The rounders teams have competed in both competitions since 2004. In 2011 they reached the finals of the Cumann Lúthchleas Gael League. This was a huge achievement.

Every year the boys approach the sport with enthusiasm and really enjoy participating in all aspects of the game.
